Indians comeback twice to win Championship.
The Hurricanes took an early 4-0 lead as Ari Zagaris doubled in a run in the 1st and Adam Geery singled in a pair in the 4th. But then in the 5th the Indians Brian Keating doubled in a run to make the score 4-1. The Indians scored 3 more runs in the 5th to tie the contest as Brandon Asire hits a SF, Erik Soto singles in one, and Lupe Castanon double in another. Tied 4-4 in the bottom of the 7th, the Hurricanes take back the lead as Eric Martin doubles home a pair with an opposite field hit down the line. The Indians come right back in the pivotal top of the 8th. Flavio Ramos singles and is forced for one out, then Tom Cavanagh singles, which is followed by an RBI double by Asire. Jaime Galindo drew a walk to load the bases. A strikeout for out number 2 sets up the drama. Castanon gets hit by the pitch on a 2-strike inside curve to force in the tying run. Greg Castellanos is next up and hits a hard shot down the 1st base line which goes off the firstbaseman's glove for a double. The Indians scored a needed insurance run in the 9th on a Flavio Ramos single. With the hopeful comeback of their own, the Hurricanes need 3 runs to tie in the 9th. The first two 'canes make out, but then an error allows a runner to 2nd, Martin follows with an RBI single, which is followed by another Indian error. 9th inning, 2 outs, tying runner at 1st, and the last Hurricane hope hits a hard grounder right at the Indians secondbaseman for the final out. Indians win!
