Mudcats starter Roberto Torres went a strong 8 inning, striking out 9 to lead the team to victory.
With the bats, Bob Affrunti drove home 3 runs, and Torres, Andrew Cherin and Jamil Mamdani had a pair of hits apiece.
With the leather, LF Cherin made a backtracking catch of a liner, then made a perfect throw to 3rd to double off a Bandit tagging from 2nd, and C Casey Matthews threw out 2 Bandits trying to steal 2nd base. A great win, by a great group of guys, versus a very, very, tough Bandits team.
