Cubs come back from 6-0 defecit
The 8 man Grays jumped out to a quick 6-0 lead in the 2nd paced by Gil Rodriguez (3-4,Hr,2b,4runs) and Thomas Lee(3-4,Hr,2r) who each hit mammoth blasts.
Culver City fought right back scoring multiple runs in the 2nd,3rd,4 and 5th innings. Kirk Mayer (1-2,Hr,2r,2rbi,bb) got the Cubs back to within a run with a 2 run "No doubter" in the 3rd inning. Steve Birkett (2-3,3b,2rbi) hit a 2out, 2 run triple to put the Cubs ahead for good in the 5th.
Mike Maganza (2-0) went the last 4 innings in relief, allowing only 2 runs, 4 hits,2bbs, & 7Ks, for his 2nd win of the season.
