Brave Hold on for Win

The score of the game was 10-7 after 5 innings of play and 4 innings later the score remained 10-7 in favor of the Byron Braves. The Braves had just 5 hits on the day, but they but they bunched those with 8 walks and 3 hit batters in the first 4 innings to parlay that into 10 runs. The Braves were held to just 1 base on balls over their final 4 at bats. Dan Rysavy celebrated a birthday by knocking in 4 runs with a pair of hits and a sac fly. Mark Krier knocked in 2 runs with a first inning hit. Scottie Peterson scored 3 times with a hit, a walk, a hit by pitch, and 2 stolen bases. Jimmy Krier completed 6 innings on the mound to pick up the win, with the aide of brother Mark, who tossed 3 shutout innings for the save.
