Logansport mounts rally in 7th & 8th to take win from Taylor

The Titans played their best game of the season and were on the cusp of getting their first victory. For the first time in 2018, the Titans executed in all three phases of the game: 1) Pitching - Through 6 Innings only gave up 2 hits and 2 walks! 2) Hitting - The Titans had a season high 10 hits and outhit Logansport 10 to 8. 3) Defense - Taylor only committed 1 error in 8 Innings and that error was on a very good play and was a very tough luck error that did not result in a run. I am proud of the guys on continuing to fight.

Peyton Tracy pitched 5 Innings giving up 2 hits, walking 2, 2 earned runs, and 3 strike outs. BJ Pemberton pitched a 1-2-3 6th inning. Wynn Takacs was put into a tough situation as he has had limited varsity pitching action and suffered the loss. Wynn has the strongest arm on the team and Taylor will really need him close some games this year.

Great defensive effort by the Outfield as they recorded 8 putouts! Clay Brubaker and Jaylen Harris had 3 putouts each and Mason Cheek had 2 putouts in Centerfield.
