Titans lose to the Comets
The Taylor Titans lost to the Eastern Comets for the first time since the 2015 season and saw a dent put on their chances to 3-peat as the HHC Conference Champions. Hats off to Easter pitcher Otis Smith who recorded 11 strike outs in 5 innings.
The score was much closer than it appeared as it was a 5 to 4 game after 5 and a 6 to 4 game after 6. However, with 2 outs and a pick-off that would have been the 3rd out in the 7th with the score being 6 to 4, the comments capitalized by scoring 5 runs in the 7th with 2 outs.
Peyton Tracy suffered the loss. He pitched 3 innings, allowed 3 hits, 3 walks, and he struck out 2. He allowed 3 runs and all were earned.
The Titans only got 5 hits. Wynn Takacs had a Double and 2 Stolen Bases. Peyton Tracy had a Single. Peyton Kellerman had a Double. Caden Sullivan had a Single and Clay Brubaker had a RBI Triple.
