Blue Jays defeat Angels
The Glory Days Blue Jays defeated the Toms River Angels 13-1 on a Sunday Night at Doc Cramer Field in Manahawkin.
The BJs, sponsored by South Jersey Heat and Cool, had an all around great game. Jared "Wig" Anicic lead the way on the hill going the distance striking out 12 Angels. "Wig" went 2 for 5 at the plate. He was taking a large amount of daddy hacks in the win. The entire Blue Jays offense had hits. Hiram "The Hit Doctor" Ortiz led the way with a 4-4 game. 3 Runs scored and 2 RBI. Vinny "Sweet Meat" Gibson went 2-4 with a 2B and 3 RBI. Tyler "Baseball" Hobbs (2 hits, RBI), Mike "Commish" Caputo (2 hits RBI), Kyle "Sleeveless" Skoog (2 hits, 2 RBI), Stephen "Blue Cheese" McTigue (2 hits, 2 Runs), Paul "Everyone's Favorite BJ" Gudzak (2B, 1B, RBI), Marc "Skip" Caputo (2B, 2 RBI, and stole a base for Matt), and "Mad" Matt Madensky (1B, RBI) contributed for the offense.
