Brewers Over Titans, 18-2
The Brewers scored a lopsided, 18-2 victory over the Titans. Greg Bertrand, Brewers mound ace, was solid, going the distance (due to lack of a relief pitcher), while yielding eight hits and two unearned runs. He also helped the cause with three hits and two RBIs, while Matt Trites also had three hits and three RBIs.
There were contributions throughout the lineup, but the batting laurels have to go to the Cubano crushers...Raul Verdecia, 4-5, with three runs scored, four RBIs and a double...and Sandro Padron, 5-5, four RBIs and a home run.
Hats off to the Titans, who clearly didn't bring their "A" game, yet continued to battle, led by a single and double from Greg LeMaster
