Bronson Goes Yard (Sort of)
Despite a skeleton crew, the Bandits managed to pull off a 15- 5 win over the Royals as lead off hitter Kevin Bronson found his groove and had a perfect day at the plate. Bronson was 4 for 4 with 2 BBs and capped off his day with an inside the park grandslam in the top of the 9th.The speedy Bronson put a ball right down the right field line and motored around the bases as the right fielder chased the ball to the fence. Jeff Gould picked up with the win going 6 innings and striking out 7. Jeff Wells went the final 3 only allowing 1 hit and an unearned run. The Bandits were missing 9 players and had to borrow two pool players to complete the roster on their way to a win.
