Mechanicsburg outlasts Enola 8-4
Mechanicsburg beat Enola 8-4 Monday night. Charlie White started the game on the mound but was replaced by Teed Wertz with one out in the 4th. Wertz earned the win.
The Cards got on the board in the first with 2 runs on RBI singles by Mason Walker and John Mayer. They added 2 more in the 2nd on home runs by Ben Eppley and Ryan Gray. Enola made it close with 2 runs in the 3rd and 1 in the 4th. Enola had the bases loaded in the 4th but Wertz put out the fire.
Mechanicsburg added 4 insurance runs in the 6th. Mason Walker finished the game with 2 doubles, one single and 3 RBI.
