Rombro & Finnerty lead Red Sox to victory.
Red Sox catcher Steve Rombro had 3 hits and drove in 3, and Sean Finnerty had 3 hits to lead the team to victory. Kaz Arakawa went 6 innings to earn the victory and reliever Dave Becker hurled 3 shutout innings to earn the save. The Red Sox made many excellent plays in the field led by thirdbaseman Michael Rosenblum who made 3 diving stops and throws for outs, and shortstop Chris Healey was steady all game long. For the Pelicans, starter Khris Wynne hurled a complete game and did well, despite the defense making 6 errors. Jesse Wilson, Phillip Castillo, Rick Bettencourt and Max Kaeller had 3 hits apiece.
