Reds win 4th in a row on Mascis complete game shutout
The Reds won their 4th in a row on the arm of Andrew Mascis who threw a complete game shutout. He gave up 1 hit and struck out 9. The Reds scored their only run in the bottom of the 4th on a 2 out RBI single by JR Hilcher. To set up the run Anthony Rossomado singled and advanced to second on a pickoff attempt. Hilcher singled on the 11th pitch of his at bat. The Reds are now one game under 500 after starting the season at 0-4. The Reds have the weekend off and pick it up again next week. Michael Martinelli was the hard luck loser giving up only 2 hits and 1 run.
