Plainfield Tornadoes 10u Takes Victory Over WSBL DG Dragons

There were runs aplenty on Tuesday, as Plainfield Tornadoes 10u defeated WSBL DG Dragons 10U Black 13-8.
WSBL DG Dragons 10U Black fired up the offense in the first inning. Will S singled on a 3-1 count, scoring one run.
After WSBL DG Dragons 10U Black scored two runs in the top of the fourth, Plainfield Tornadoes 10u answered with two of their own. WSBL DG Dragons 10U Black scored when Grant F's sac fly scored one run for WSBL DG Dragons 10U Black. Plainfield Tornadoes 10u then answered when Jayden P grounded out, scoring one run and Nathaniel O grounded out, scoring one run.
Plainfield Tornadoes 10u pulled away for good with seven runs in the second inning. In the second Colin C singled on a 2-1 count, scoring three runs and Brady R doubled on a 0-1 count, scoring one run.
Drew L took the win for Plainfield Tornadoes 10u. He went two innings, allowing four runs on three hits and striking out four. Sammy B, Chase H, and Ethan D all put in work on the pitcher's mound in relief out of the bullpen, steering their team towards the victory.
Will led things off on the hill for WSBL DG Dragons 10U Black. He lasted two innings, allowing seven hits and eight runs while striking out one. Aiden S and Oliver T entered the game from the bullpen, throwing two innings and one inning respectively.
Plainfield Tornadoes 10u had nine hits in the game. Brady and Colin each racked up multiple hits for Plainfield Tornadoes 10u. Brady led Plainfield Tornadoes 10u with three hits in three at bats. Plainfield Tornadoes 10u was sure-handed in the field and didn't commit a single error. Sam B had the most chances in the field with seven.
