Titans stay perfect in Conference play behind Pemberton!
BJ Pemberton threw 5 innings giving up 4 runs (all earned) on 9 hits, 1 walk, and 1 K. Caden Sullivan threw the 6th and had the unfortune of 3 Titan errors in the 6th that allowed 3 unearned runs. Wynn Takacs pitched the 7th and shut CP down 1-2-3 and recorded 2 strike outs.
Bailey Owens walked twice and scored twice in the lead-off. Wynn Takacs walked twice and sored twice in the 2 hole. Peyton Tracy was 2 for 5 with 2 RBI in the 3 hole. Peyton Kellerman had a RBI Single in the clean-up spot. Mason Cheek was 2 for 4 with a RBI in the 5 hole. Owen Farrington was 1 for 1 with 2 walks in the 8 hole and Freshman Kendall Lanning had a big night in the 9 hole where he went 2 for 3 with a Double, Triple, walk, and 3 RBI!
The Titans improved to 3 & O in Hoosier Heartland Conference play with the win and have won 5 of their last 6 games!
