The East Surry Cardinals spoiled the home opener for West Stokes last night in a non-conference football game at Wildcat Stadium. The Cardinals jumped out early, and held a 13-6 halftime lead. East Surry added another touchdown in the third quarter and a 37-yard field goal in the fourth for a 24-12 win.
