I had to be in NY on business so I didn't see this game, but the report I got back from the coaches was very disappointing. They said we played uninspired hockey and that we were weak on the backcheck and soft along the walls. I know we are missing many of our top players to injury and this was our fifth game in seven days, but not working hard is inexcusable. Hopefully a weekend off will reenergize us for the game against a very good Comcast team as well as our first Elite league games in Buffalo. Being short so many players is going to put a strain on the team physically, so our commitment to staying physically strong with be the key to our success or failure this season. .
