Six different players scored the six goals in match number two of the South County Seaside Classic pacing the Commack Blasters sweep of our opening day games.

Action started in the seventh minute as Gina's well placed corner from the right side was headed home by Ashley into the upper left corner for a 1-0 lead. Ten minutes later, Mere scored on a Carly cross for a 2-0 advantage. In the twentieth minute, Alyssa threaded a through-ball to Carly who scored on the left post for a 3-0 advantage. Two minutes before the half ended, Northeast was called for handling a ball in the box resulting in a penalty kick for Commack. Sara, playing field with Stephanie in net, took the shot which hit the keeper high, struck under the cross bar and rolled into the goal off the keeper's back for a 4-0 halftime score.

Nine minutes into the second half, Jenny scored from Alyssa for a 5-0 difference. With three minutes remaining, LB took a pass from Carly which she turned and fired from twenty-five yards inside the right post for a 6-0 final score. Stephanie recorded her second clean sheet where she saw five rushes from the Northeast United team.
