Victory over GU/18 Northeast Regional Premier Team

The second match of the 2007 East Meadow Covanta Cup saw the Commack Blasters facing the Bayside United Flames. Bayside, now a GU/18 team, was a third place finisher in the GU/17 Northeast Regional League's Red Division last season. Due to a delayed start, this match's final whistle sounded at 9:00pm and the scoreboard showed a 1-0 win for the Blasters.

The goal was scored by Nicky about twenty minutes into the first half to give Commack a 1-0 lead. Stephanie continued her streak of clean sheets in net for Commack extending back to the Seaside Classic as she was spotless in the first half. Sara took over in the nets during the second half and finished the win for the team.

Among the coaches that saw specific players for this match were SUNY/Purchase and SUNY/Farmingdale.
