Heavy Downpour Suspends Second Match After Five Minutes

Dark clouds threatened as the Commack Blasters faced the Capital United Blue Angels in the second match at the 2008 Shenentaha Mad Dog Mania College Showcase. After five minutes of end-to-end play, the referee signal a stoppage of play for lightning spotted in the distance. Heavy downpours started just ten minutes after the opening whistle and lasted for the next twenty minutes. Having walked the field, the coaches decided to return to the hotel after consultation with a field marshall.
