Schedule Changes
Due to a few field conflicts with HCC & Ripken baseball that have just come to light, as well as the college reverting the turf field back to a softball field for their girls softball squad w/o making us aware of it until after the fact, any games that were scheduled to be played on Lynch field will now be played at Thomas Run Park (natural surface, lit diamond). A few games had to be moved all together as well.
We also added another team to the schedule last minute, but that will not affect the days you would have normally played on. At best a time change may apply to any games vs. this new team (Yankees) for your squad.
Please review the schedule in the Schedule link to the left for any changes. Changes are indicated with a blue '!' next to it in the schedule itself.
2008 Fall League Information

The 2008 Gunpowder Fall League is currently in it's planning stages. The league will begin on September 8th and conclude on October 30th. The schedule will consist of 14-16 games, will be an all wood bat league, and play exclusively at Harford Community College on both of it's 90' diamonds. When the Ravens are in town, no games will be played on that date. When they are out of town, the league office will do everything in it's power to avoid scheduling games during a Raven's away contest. This will hinge on how many teams will be involved this year.
If you have a team that you would like to enter into the league this year, if you are an already established semipro/adult league team (IE- Susquehanna League, Baltimore League, Blueridge League, Over-30 or Over-40), simply send us your information (team name, managers name and contact info) and we'll include your team for play this year in the fall. If you are a new team, please send us the same info as above including a roster with each players highest level of playing experience for consideration by the league office.
Costs are $50 per team per game for field usage, and $60 per team per game for umpires. All teams are expected to be UNIFORMED with numbered jerseys.
Bandits Win 2007 Fall Tournament

The Baytown River Bandits defeated the Susquehanna Assault 6-0 on Tuesday night to win the 2007 Gunpowder League Fall Tournament. The Bandits beat the Harford Diamondbacks 4-1 and the Susquehanna Braves 7-1 in route to the Championship game vs. the Assault.
The Assault meanwhile ended the season overall at 12-2 with the Bandits finishing 12-3 overall. Rounding out the rest of the league, the Susquehanna Braves would finish up 9-4, Fallston United 3-7, Cooper Cleaning 3-10 and the Diamondbacks 0-13.
The Gunpowder Fall Baseball League is active each Fall during September and October. The league is administered by Thomas Run Park at Harford Community College and features semipro level baseball talent consisting of current or former high school, college and professional baseball players . Each team plays two games per week: one weeknight game (wood bat) and one weekend game (aluminum bat). Attempts are made to rotate games and times to minimize conflicts with Baltimore Ravens home games.
