The weeknight league will begin play April 22nd.Teams must have a minimum $250 deposit payed to be place on the schedule.

Legal fielding team is 10 players.Teams can play with 8 or 9 fielders..If a team has 8 players to start a game they MUST have 9 positions in the batting order and an out will be recorded when the 9th position is due to bat.If a 9th player appears at a game already in progress he can immediately enter the game and assume the 9th spot in the batting order.If a team starts with 9 players the 10th player cannot enter the game once the 10th position in the batting order is skipped over, UNLESS the team has 10 positions in the batting order and an out is recorded every time the 10th position is due up.Then the 10th player can enter the game as soon as he appears at the game.

Courtesy Runner-last recorded out.2 per game.Must be designated before the game begins.Is not transferable.

Mercy Rule- 20 runs after 3, 15 runs after 4, 10 runs after 5

Official game- team trailing in runs must complete 4 turns at bat (20 run mercy being the exception)

Regular season games can end in official ties

Games suspended due to rain or darkness will be continued from point of stoppage

Forfeit Procedure- Games are scheduled to begin at 6:20. If a team is unable to take the field at 6:30 said team will automatically become the visiting team and forfeits their 1st turn at bat.When they have enough players to legally field a team they will take the field and it will be the bottom of the 1st.Forfeit time is 6:45.  THERE MUST BE A PENALTY FOR LATENESS (If no penalty teams will regularly show up at 6:45)

Forfeit Fee-$50 payed at the field.If the forfeit fee is not paid at the field an additional $25 penalty will be incurred.$75 will then be added to your teams balance.(ie-a team has a balance of $200 left on its league fee.That teams balance is now $275) NO TEAM WILL PARTICIPATE IN THE PLAYOFFS UNLESS THEIR BALANCE TO THE LEAGUE IS $0

Once a player steps on the field for a team he is committed to that team for the rest of the season.Under no circumstances will a player be allowed to LEAVE his team and join another team.

If a team releases a player that player will be placed on waivers and can be claimed by another team, starting with the last place team and working upward

If a team is dismissed from the league for any reason players on the team may appeal to the commissioner to be placed on another team.If the dismissed team's league fee is not paid in full then the players on said team are all suspended from the league.These players must first pay the league a REINSTATEMENT FEE.PERIOD.END OF STORY.Players are all going to be held responsible for a teams league fee.Teams that drop out of the league usually owe the league money.A player is not going to be allowed to join another team without paying their portion of their original team's league fee.

Teams who allow players who have played on a team dismissed from the league to play on their team can FORFEIT any game said player(s) appeared in.

ONLY THE COMMISSIONER CAN PERMIT PLAYERS TO JOIN A SECOND TEAM.IT WILL BE A TEAM OF THE COMMISSIONER'S CHOICE.

The League follows ASA 10 player modified pitching rules  ***There are restrictions on the backswing that are not included in 9 player modified pitch

ONE EXCEPTION TO THE RULE- you can "rock" on the mound.One foot must be in contact with the "rubber" when the pitcher releases the ball

Please don't bring down pitchers who don't abide by these rules

3 illegal pitches called in one game will result in a pitcher being removed from position of pitcher for the remainder of the game.

A called illegal pitch is a delayed "dead ball'.

All pitchers must be approved by the league.The league can ban any pitcher at any time during the season.  "I have been pitching this way all season" is not a valid reason to allow a pitcher to break the rules.This includes playoffs.IF YOU DON'T LIKE THE RULES PLEASE DON'T SIGN UP
