Pee Wee football...is supposed to teach kids the fundamentals of football, teamwork, disapline, and give them chance to make new friends. If you want your boys to get talked to like niggas on the street... then this is the team for you! If you have no job and have the time to deal with total chaos... the flames is where you need to be! Since the organization is run by "dope boys" you might be able to find a new connect. The Flames have some GREAT players that can make it really far but the morals and influances that your kids can easily pick up can last a lifetime. Please dont get me wrong I am from the hood and lived that life but come on moms we gotta want better for our kids. If these kids do make it with this foundation the Flames is instiling will it last? Or will they just be ghetto niggas with money like Mike Vic still doing stupid shit. Dont be mad when these "suburb" caoches come on here and put a mirror on you, there being real. Ghetto is just ghetto. Teach the kids to play, to love it, to work hard but do it right... and remember its just a game if they want it bad enough they get it

Pee Wee football...Lets see is suppose to teach kids the fundamentals of football, teach them about team work, and allow them them to make new friends. It is suppose to be fun, mom if you want your kids talked to like niggas in the streets send them to the Dayton Flames... If you want to deal with total chaos with no organization...If you have no job and need a babysitter so you can run the streets this is the team for you! The organization is run by "dope boys" and drunks trying to live through their kids. I am from "the hood" but ghetto is just ghetto. We should want better for our kids, the Flames have alot of great players and "coaches" that know the game but there is a better way to do things. I can see these kids making it to the NFL but seeing that there foundation is crap can they make it? And if they do will they still be ghetto messes doing stupid shit like Mike Vic?

Dear Suburbs, It is clear that we dominated your tournament. It is clear that our dominance was so evident that the coaches through in the towel (that means they quit). Through our domination it is also clear that your high schools and your colleges would be inferior if it was not for our so called "ghetto boys". Sincerely Ghetto Parent

Hey everybody, just wanted to let you know that Quentin is doing just fine... after last Saturday he said he never wanted to play football again, but today he said he is giving next season some thought. We both want to congratulate you on the 12yr old Superbowl championship. I appreciate the calls and support from everyone on the field during Q's injury. He pulled a muscle within his groin and also has an avulsion of his femur bone. He starts physical therapy this week and is currently getting around well on his crutches. We hope to see you all next season. Till then... Peace and chicken grease.

Wow, Thank you for a great game. I really enjoyed the comepetitive hard hitting game we played. I enjoyed even more the competitive spirit and sportsmanship displayed by Both Dayton and Grand Rapids. Mulick(Grand Rapids) had not lost a game in a year, and met more than their match in the 13-14 Dayton Flames. Coming from a inner city program my self, i could really appreciate the structure and comradarie displayed in your organization. I hope to get a rematch soon. Thanks for the prayer on the way home Thank you,

flames now you see what meadowdale had to put up with all these years playing all these "spoiled" teams. i cant beleive they quit. only teams that knuckle up and play f-ball in this WOJFC league is springfield, wayne, northmont. all the rest are whinners and cowards. im sure the refs TRIED their best to take away the flames kids confidence and hose the flames down and keep it close with flag after flag. thats sad. thats why when i coached at lions we scrimmaged flames,t-wood, redhawks and whoever else to let our kids know what real football was about. my team lost 4 games in 5 years, i'll say we lost ONE fair and square, the rest was hose jobs by the refs who had nephews and cousins on the games they were reffing. MR. HALE how does it feel to see the refs cheat little 11-12yr old kids. and please explain to your kid when its O.K. to QUIT!

Mr. Hale, I would like to first thank you for your comments on the website. The Dayton Flames always appreciate positive feedback on anything that WE do. As for your other remarks I find it appauling that you would say such a thing. The Dayton Flames have a long standing tradition on producing not only very good football players, but also fine young men as well. I am sure the other coaches will agree, that after playing football all over the United States, competing at every level, WE have heard all types of comments about our program. But not once in the history of this fine football program has anyone accused US of "dirty football". WE teach our kids to play by the rules, to play their hardest on every play until the whistle blows, and to leave it all on the field PERIOD. Now if your kids are being taught anything different, your coaches are doing them an complete injustice. The proof is in the pudding, take a look at the post on this guestbook, from all over the country, does it make you wonder why you are the only one with something negative to say? My point exactly! Look at the long list of Alumni that are currently in the NFL and the MANY players we have at the Div I College level, not to mention the MANY currently at the high school level that are being heavily recruited. It makes you wonder how a program could have such success by teaching "dirty football". As previously stated on this blog, "If you cant run with the big dogs then stay on the porch" or as WE used to say, "IF YOU WANT SOME, COME AND GET SOME". To the Dayton Flames, I miss you all and love you all as well. I see that you are still competing a a very high level, and making the opponents wonder how the heck are you so good. To bad they dont know the difference between being good and playing dirty. Dink, BC, Dujaun, Coach Britt and everybody else keep doing your thing, the type of talent and the fine young man you are producing is AMAZING.

Dear Mr. Hale, Why cant your organization except defeat with pride, why do you feel you have to place the blame on us as to why your children arent prepared to play football, Our boys start out early in the year to get prepared for this game. Our coaches teach our children to take the bitter with the sweet, I dont know if you realize this or not but football is a contact sport(WE DONT PLAY FLAG FOOTBALL.) I know Miamisburg, Centerville and the rest of the teams that got beaten this weekend need a reason to feel good about losing to our team, but the real reason is simple you came to war unprepared thinking because you were from Centerville & Miamisburg you were going to win, when the truth is half way through each game your children were tired and falling apart. So my advice to you is GET OVER IT and start teaching those children how to play football. IF YOU NEED ASSISTANCE AS TO WHERE TO START CONTACT OUR GREAT COACHES THEY HAVE MANY YEARS OF KNOWLEDGE AND EXPERIENCE, MANY CHILDREN HAVE WENT TO COLLEGE WITH FULL SCHOLARSHIP RIDES DUE THEIR PROGRAM.

Dear Mr. Hale.. I don't recall anyone complaining about dirty football when Centerville was up 8 to nothing! Why all the negative press now? Makes you wonder...... Matter of fact, I didn't hear anything from that sideline but "RUN THEM OVER". Well, don't worry you can always say "THEY ONLY WON BECAUSE WE HAD TO QUIT, THEY WERE PLAYING DIRTY FOOTBALL" as long as they weren't there you should be O.K Your team should be proud!

Dear Mr. Daniel Hales I am very disappointed in your comments about our program. I've been coaching in the Dayton Flames program for the last 13 years and I've never been accused of teaching unfair or dirty play. The majority of the calls were questionable. I have the game on tape. One of the first lessons I learned in football was to keep your head on a swivel and don't quit until the whistle blows. Maybe if your coaches taught your players this they wouldn't get caught with there pants down. Most of the clipping calls were made on long runs, at one point they called clipping on 3 plays in a row 2 of those plays resulted in touchdowns called back. Which proved nothing the coaches, players or refs could do to stop our supremacy.Your coaches must of felt helpless but to quit should have never been an option. The only thing you could do to try and justify quitting is scream foul play.I hope your coaches realize that there kids will always remember the day they quit. Nothing you accomplish as a football team will ever make them forget the day they quit.As a former marine you would think you would be more concerned with your kids quitting than some questionable calls.TRUE MARINES NEVER QUIT.

I would like to comment on Flames Football compared to Wojfc Football. Football that's taught in the WOjfc is if I'm the coach and my kid is on the team then he gets any position he chooses. Which normally is a skilled position that he has no talent for. Second the WOJFC or joke if you wanna call it. Is not football it's powder puff for boys. The is usually only a handful of kids so there is no competing going on, kids are hand positions based on who's the coach or who's your dad. I love Flames football it teaches competition and there is no FAVORITISM you must earn your spot. I presently coach Northmont 6th Grade Green and I coached for a number of years with the Greatest Organization and Team Dayton Flames. Illegal play nah, dirty football nah. Kids willing to put everything on the line yes, dedicated yes, enthusiastic yes. I only wish THE WOJFC teams played against teams from that league and you would see that the level of football is higher. While we teach everyone must get 5 plays if you're not ready to compete in that league 5 plays may get you creamed. As for you Mr. Hale if you're the same coach who was on the sideline last year for Centerville White. You teach dirty football too. I experienced it first hand. If need a refresher course you can e-mail me. Coach Dink keep it up there's always people trying to tear down something great especially when they don't understand. In my heart and my family heart, we are always and will be FLAMES FOR LIFE. Without Flames football my son would not be as skilled as he is. So as we say " we ain't going anywhere we're right here the Flames are going to bring it". Keep up the fight

Dear Mr. Daniel Hale: First of all I would like to thank you for your comments about the web site, secondly I think that you are very wrong to accuse myself and my coaching staff of teaching our kids to play dirty football. We pride ourselves on running an outstanding football program that competes nationally all over the United States of America and this is the first time I've ever heard such an atrocious accusation about our football team. These kids are discipline, well coached and taught to play hard nosed football until the whistle blows. I've heard alot of great things about this 6th grade Centerville-White team and was not disappointed at all once we faced this great team on the field, but I do not think that centerville ever faced a team of this caliber in real life. That leads me wonder what length people would go to to protect the psych of their kids when faced with such adversity and pull their team off the field and quit. What is the coach teaching his team? to quit!!! Sorry sir but are kids are well coached and been playing together since they were 6yrs old and that's why you see the level of play on the field that you saw Sunday in the CHAMPIONSHIP GAME.

I just finished looking at your website. It looks pretty impressive. I'm just wondering why the coaches of your 6th grade team teach the kids to PLAY DIRTY football? The parents heard about all the personal fouls, illegal blocks in the back your team did against Miamisburg. Then we saw it first hand ourselves against Centerville. Rough and tough football is fun to watch. Whats NOT fun to watch is kids getting seriously hurt from unncessary ILLEGAL blocks. What kind of respectful team has a team cheer of DIRTY PLAY? What happened to the teachings of good sportsmanship? As a former Marine, I'm accustomed to rough and tough play. I also know the difference between good hard football and DIRTY football. Your 6th grade team is a good team. To good to be coached to play DIRTY.
