WEEK OF PRACTICE THERE AND THEN ON THE FIELD. I'D ALSO LIKE TO WISH EVERYONE A HAPPY AND SAFE 4TH. OF JULY, THANK YOU AND "GOD BLESS AMERICA"

JUST WANT TO SEND OUR CONDOLENCES TO THE CHAVEZ FAMILY AS WELL AS THE SPARTAN FAMILY. WHEN I FIRST STARTED AS AN AD WITH THE BOBCATS I REMEMBER OUR FIRST GAME WAS AT H.P. AND JERRY WAS RUNNING THE PROGRAM FROM BEHIND BECAUSE HE WANTED TO CONTINUE TO BE A COACH AS NERVOUS AS I WAS AT THE TIME I REMEMBER JERRY COMING TO MY SIDE AND HELPING ME OUT WITH SOME PAPER WORK WHEN I THANKED HIM HE JUST SMILED SAID NO PROBLEM WE'RE ALL HERE FOR THE SAME REASON "THE KIDS" ILL NEVER FORGET THAT. IM STILL PART OF THE BOBCAT ORGANIZATION AND WHEN I USED TO SEE JERRY AS A REFEREE WE USED TO TEASE HIM BUT HE WAS JUST AS GOOD A REFEREE AS HE WAS A COACH AND EVEN A BETTER PERSON. SGVJAA LOST A GOOD PERSON AND MY MEMORY WILL STICK WITH ME FOREVER IT WAS A PLEASURE KNOWING A MAN LIKE JERRY CHAVEZ.

Yes indeed the organization lost a good friend on the 14th of March. I worked closely with Mr. Chavez and saw firsthand the things he actually did for the Spartan Family. Missed he will be, but never forgotten.

My prayers go out to the Chavez family and to the Spartan Nation. Its hard when we have a love one pass away, specially when that person has changed the lives of so manny youth unconditionally. If theres anything that i could do in my end of town, please let me know. Again my Prayers go out to the family and to the people of HP. Alex Valdez Board Member La Habra Pop Warner
