IT'S OVER!

Congratulations to the Blue Pills and White Hairs for a fine display of slo-pitch in a tight championship game on Thursday September 19th, with the Pills prevailing 11-9.

Thanks to our managers Greg Aubert (Blue Pills), Chris Barrett (Fine Wines), Mike Boyle (Red Faces), John Koopman Rusty Royals), Jeff Morton (White Hairs) and Jeff Chapman/Jim Fenner (Grey Beards).  We appreciate all you do, including juggling lineups to cover last-minute absences, your constant encouragement and, most importantly, holding your tongues when outfielders drop a lazy fly ball or infielders boot an easy double-play ball.  

Thanks to our game reporters for keeping detailed notes throughout the games and then making up stuff to give us a smile or two each week: all of the managers plus Dave Adams, Larry Young and almost everyone on the Rusty Royals - Gord Shields, Frank Sturm, Ed Lincz, Brian Mastervick, Darrell Northcott and Tony Fratia.

Thanks to Bruce Locke for maintaining our equipment, including painting the strike plates and repairing the pitching screens (often); also for checking the fields very early on Thursday mornings to ensure they are playable (or not).

Please return your signed Application/Waiver for the 2025 season if you haven't already done so.  The registration fee for 2025 is $200 if we receive your Application/Waiver and payment before November 30th, after which the fee increases to $225.

Please recommend our league to experienced slo-pitch players who will be 60 or older anytime in 2025.  New players who register and pay before November 30th are also entitled to pay the $200 discounted fee.
