This means that the player is ineligible for that game just like and overweight player. I was told by a league official that this player was only 1 pound under weight. If this is true he could of drank 1 bottle of water and made weight. It was to bad that he did not make it because if Suniland could of kicked one kick though the game would have been a tie and he kicked 2 Suniland would of won. |

Well, I doubt if the kid just now became too light to play on that team. Hmmmmm, so that mean the kid was illegal. And I'm sure Suniland's Commissioners and Coaches knew he was illegal. I mean it would've been illegal if he was too heavy, right? So somebody needs to be punished for that, don't you think?? Like maybe, I don't know, forfeit all their games that the kid played in. Maybe, strip them of their PopWarner Bowl trophy. Wow, I sure hope somebody cares enough to look into this. First Suniland parents say their kids didn't get to play all their plays in the PopWarner Bowl, now this. SAD, SAD, SAD. |

Miramar November 8, 2007 8:51:54 AM Entry ID: 1252432 | I would like to say how proud we are of the Palmetto Raiders 70's, 90's, 120's, 130's, and 160's for the job they did in the post season. Palmetto Raiders had 5 teams representing in the Pop Warner Bowl and 3 that won that is a great thing for the Park and the Organization and we are only getting stronger. The 130's and 160's are heading on the Road and we are very proud of them for their accomplishment no matter what happens they are champions for just getting this far. I am especially proud of the 160's and we are honored to coach great kids. Keep working hard, parents, raider fans, raiders support each other and we can go all the way. Good luck to both teams this weekend as we head into our on battles. |
