Roselle September 5, 2009 12:46:12 AM Entry ID: 1692771 | Congratulations to the Roselle Pop Warner, Inc. Program for the success of their 3rd Annual Pep Rally. The fireworks and colored smoke were exciting, the DJ kept the hottest beats flowing, the whiting fish sandwiches were the bomb, the spirit gear was selling like hot cakes, the cheer squads brought it, the football players got amped up, and the poster contest showcased the phenomenal talent and creativity of our Roselle student-athletes. Job well done to the Roselle Pop Warner Executive Board with a special shout out to the Cheer Director, Shanika Fish for bringing it all together. We look forward to a very successful and prosperous 2009 Football and Cheer season. It was my pleasure to be your hostess and emcee for the evening. R-A-M-S Roselle Rams are the best. Go Rams!!! Submitted with Roselle Rams Pride: Shalonda L. Tanner (Parent of a Flag Football Player). |

Roselle August 21, 2009 3:41:02 PM Entry ID: 1682287 | The 1st Scrammage for flag against East Orange Jaguars was exciting until the game began. The children were displaying unsportmen like conduct. Hitting our children during the game, punching, elbowing and even tackling. All of this behaivor seemed to be condoned by high fives from the sideline after every whistle. Is this what flag has been reduced to having 5,6, and some 7 year olds attempting to harm thier fellow competitors just to score. Who should be blamed for this type of behavoir on the field? Is this how the children are being taught to play flag? Where is the dignity in the game? What happened to fair play? |

Roselle, NJ August 31, 2007 11:40:25 PM Entry ID: 1197806 | The 2nd annual Roselle Pop Warner, Inc. Football and Cheer Pep Rally was incredible! Thanks to all the parents, families, and supporters of the Roselle Rams football players and cheerleaders. Job well done to the Pep Rally coordinators and volunteers who worked hard to make the event an enjoyable night for all those in attendance. Thanks to the Executive Board and Coaches of Football and Cheer who put in countless hours to mentor and develop the youth of Roselle every year as volunteers. Your contributions have not gone unnoticed. The cheer squads showed great Roselle pride and spirit with the signs they created for the poster contest. Their cheer demonstrations gave the crowd something to look forward to at the upcoming cheer competition. The football team chants were motivational and had the crowd pumped-up for wins against the E.O. Jaguars and any opponent we come up against. I am proud to live in Roselle Rams Country! R-A-M-S, Roselle Rams are the best. I look forward to a terrific 2007 regular and post season. We have the Respect, Ability, Mentality, and Sportsmanship to hit the grid iron with grace and poise. The entire Roselle Community supports our hometown teams in the Roselle Pop Warner, Inc. Football & Cheer program. Let's ride the Roselle pride to the championships! |
