After our Recent Stay in Jacksonville for Round 1 of the Regional playoffs. I received this comment from the Sleep Inn & Suites-Flemming Island "Although I was not here, the comments I heard were excellent. I was told by staff and guests that your group was the best behaved sports team that has ever stayed in our hotel. I have worked with many teams in other hotels and it usually is a nightmare, but not the Inverness Storm." We have also sent several of our coaches to your coaches clinics in the past. The Timucua Conference has always been most helpful. I know that it would be a long trip for any of your teams to come play here, but we would really like to have a Timucua team play in our Shrimp Bowl in Nov. We had a few rough spots, but as a whole, everyone welcomed us. We are looking forward to our second season with the conference. We would like to specifically thank Rick from the Villages for his help with fundraising and knowledge about the site. We would like to thank Dennis from the Sharks for his help in getting us off the ground and his guidance throughout the season. We could not have done it without him. |
