Final Registration Opportunity for Spring Season

Registration ​will be OPEN from Wednesday, April 30, through Friday May 2 (​midnight) ​FOR: 

• Approved participants who were rostered to a team

  ​-AND-
  

• Did not register online via Blue Sombrero ​by the February 10th deadline​ 

 Step 1: Residency Verification (Choose One Option)

Option 1: School Enrollment Form
If your child attends school in Hoboken (regardless of home address):

• Complete the ​attached School Enrollment Form with your school administrator

• Upload the completed form directly to the registration platform

Option 2: Proof of Residency (​THREE Documents Required)
If your child lives in Hoboken but attends school outside of town:

• Submit three documents that meet the criteria outlined on the HLL website​; these documents should be uploaded directly onto the registration platform

• Be sure to follow the guidelines ​on the HLL website for document grouping and date requirements

Once your residency documents are ready, register your child by visiting​:

 Don’t forget: A birth certificate and residency documentation are required to complete the ​registration process

-- Spring registration for the HLL baseball program CLOSED on February 10th --

We are NOT accepting participants into the MAJOR or MINOR League divisions at this time (3/11/25)

• If you registered BEFORE the deadline, no further action is required at this time; rosters and schedules have been published and the team formation process has been finalized
•  
  • Please DO NOT ask the league to check on the individual status of your registration data - the league reviews every registration entry to ensure completion

• • If anything is missing from your registration, the league will attempt to reach out to finalize outstanding material; however, the league cannot always reach everyone, and therefore, participants are responsible for completing the registration requirements on time

• • The league will notify participants of their team placements in mid to late March (if not sooner); this takes place AFTER the team formation/draft process has been finalized

• • TeamSnap will be activated AFTER the team formation and/or draft process has concluded (mid-late March); the majority of the divisions have finalized this process and information is available to participants on the TeamSnap "app"

• • Team rosters and schedules will be available on the TeamSnap "app" AND will be published to the HLL website upon completion (mid-late March)

• • To find out more about the plans for the spring season, and tryout sessions (Minor/Major League) as well as to view a tentative timeline/plans for each division, please visit the respective topic under the "headlines" section on our website

• Participants with a baseball age of 7 and 8 years old are welcome to join the waiting list by completing the following: Online Form to Join the HLL Baseball Waiting List: https://forms.gle/Q8D2cP6FVAvAkRuK8 

• • The league is continuously assessing the registration data to determine availability within the younger programs (TBD)

• • While the league works incredibly hard to move participants from the "waiting list" into their respective programs whenever possible, it is not always guaranteed; the league will contact participants directly if/when removed from the waiting list

• • Keep in mind that there are a set number of teams allotted per division AND limitations on the roster sizes per team - the outcome will be dependent upon the registration numbers within each division; some divisions may have openings, while others may have already reached maximum capacity (TBD)
