🏆 Blue Jays Crowned 2025 HOBO Champions After Epic 9th-Inning Comeback

The Hamilton Oldtimers Baseball Organization (HOBO) wrapped up its 2025 season with a finale for the ages at Bernie Arbour Stadium, as the Blue Jays captured the championship in dramatic fashion.

Facing the Royals in a highly anticipated rematch of the playoffs’ opening round, the Blue Jays found themselves trailing late in the game. But true to their never-say-die spirit, the squad mounted a thrilling comeback in the top of the 9th inning to secure the HOBO Finals trophy.

The victory not only showcased the Blue Jays’ talent and resilience but also highlighted the camaraderie and competitiveness that defines HOBO baseball. With clutch hits, gritty defense, and an unshakable belief in each other, the Blue Jays stormed back to etch their names onto the league’s championship hardware once again.

A rematch of Week 1 of the playoffs — two teams that battled hard to get here, now facing off once again to decide who will take home the championship.

Two teams will punch their ticket to the Finals this week—who’s your pick to move on? 🏆

The Burlington Skyway will be down to 2 lanes over the weekend.  If you are coming from Toronto you may need to leave extra time.

If your team loses on Sunday, be prepared to hand in your shirt to your team reps.  They will be reused for next year.
