STATE CHAMPION! Congratulations to Charlestown Little League for winning the 2017 Indiana Junior Softball State Tournament! They defeated teams from District 2 and District 11, along with District 10, to claim the first State Tournament championship for the league. Charlestown will represent District 5 and the State of Indiana as they compete at the Central Region Tournament located in South Holland, Illinois outside of Chicago. The team will leave on Friday to arrive in South Holland, and will open up tournament play on Saturday, July 22nd at 5:30pm against Michigan. Congratulations to Charlestown Little League, and good luck in South Holland!

Congratulations to the New Albany Little League All-Stars! They defeated Jeff/GRC on Monday night to claim the 2017 Major Baseball District Championship! New Albany will move on to the Major Baseball State Tournament, hosted by Indiana District 9 at Wabash Little League, beginning on Wednesday, July 26th. Congratulations New Albany!

Congratulations to the Jeff/GRC Little League All-Stars! They defeated New Albany on Monday night to claim the 2017 9-10-11 Baseball District Championship! Jeff/GRC will move on to the 9-10-11 Baseball State Tournament, hosted by Indiana District 8 at Plainfield Little League, beginning on Thursday, July 20th. Congratulations Jeff/GRC!

Congratulations to the Floyd Knobs Little League All-Stars! They defeated Silver Creek on Monday night to claim the 2017 Minor Softball District Championship! Floyd Knobs will move on to the Minor Softball State Tournament, hosted by Indiana District 1 at State Park Little League, beginning on Thursday, July 20th. Congratulations FKCC!

Congratulations to the HYR Little League All-Stars! They defeated New Albany on Thursday night to claim the 2017 Intermediate District Championship! HYR defeated New Albany in a best two out of three matchup at HYR, securing their second straight District 5 championship. HYR will move on to the Intermediate 50/70 State Tournament held at Zionsville Little League, beginning on Thursday, July 13th.

News Release: The District Staff have announced that the 2017 Indiana District 5 Tournament will be held at Clarksville Little League, located on Little League Blvd in Clarksville, Indiana. Clarksville Little League will be the 2017 host of the district tournament, which is tentatively scheduled to begin on June 26th, 2017.
