Subscribe to our NewsletterLady Hornets See Progress in First Season.
We started the 2017-18 season with 10 young players who each had her own reason for wanting to play this game. I’m proud to say that now 21 games later, we finished the season with 10 young athletes who have developed stronger basketball skills and who showed their dedication and commitment to this team. I’m so proud of how you all worked to become a team - a team of unselfish individuals who worked so hard and truly supported each other during every practice and every game. I am looking forward to see how far we can go next year. I hope you are too. We played our best basketball as a team at the end of the year. This is a goal of any team in any given season. Special thanks to my assistant coach, Kelly Greve-Smith. She did an amazing job with our girls! Thanks to our school board, school administrators, parents, Thomas Burress, bus driver, fans, and the community for your kind words and support this season.
