The Magic City Mystics Basketball Club is a Birmingham, AL based non-profit organization competing in amateur basketball in AAU, USSSA and YBOA associations. The teams meet and practice during the off-season and will participate in tournaments throughout the county from March until August.

Mission To develop a highly competitive and respectable youth basketball program that maintains integrity as a priority at all times. By providing the best facilities, equipment, and coaching, the organization is designed to provide youth ages 9 to 18 with a forum to develop and display their basketball skills and talents.

Philosophy The organization is structured around and emphasizes the importance of continued education, teamwork, and sportsmanship. The organization strives to provide personal growth and development for young people. Our goal is to raise the competitive level of youth basketball in Birmingham as well as the state of Alabama and expose our athletes to the best players and basketball coaches from colleges throughout the nations. We will strive to consistently win championships at all amateur basketball levels. By participating in basketball tournaments, our athletes gain invaluable experiences, friendships, and scholarship opportunities they might never have dreamed possible.

Vision Our hope is that their experience with the Mystics Basketball Club will continue to open doors for youth who wish to participate in basketball at the collegiate level and beyond. The success of any season will not be determined by the wins and losses, rather by the improvement of the players in their skills, self-confidence, knowledge and love for the game of basketball.
