“Playing for South Burlington Legion is one of the best experiences I have had in my baseball career. It allowed me to improve my game during the Summer with good competition, as well as create bonds with other baseball players that will last forever. It helped me to play baseball at the next level in college, as it gave me an idea on the level of competition I would face, as well as playing a lot of games in a short amount of time. It also helped to have Cagney Brigham as the Head Coach, as he knows a lot about playing at the next level from both his playing and coaching career. Cagney wants to get the best out of every player, and pushes them to do so. He coaches the game the right way, and is so much fun to play for. He will do everything he can to help players get better, including taking the time out of his own day to stay late or come early to get players’ extra work. I am thankful I had the opportunity to play for the Wildcats, as we now join the staff under Coach Brigham.” -Ben Tate ‘19

   “I am very thankful to have gotten to play for South Burlington Legion and Cagney Brigham.  I had a great experience playing for SB and without Cagney I wouldn’t have had the success I had playing college baseball.  Coach Brigham has a passion for helping kids get better and he goes the extra mile for people in order to reach their coals.  Cagney consistently stays late and shows up early to let players get extra work and he has a great sense for baseball and hot to help kids get better.  He taught me things that have had long lasting effects on my game.  Cagney is the type of person who truly cares about his players and is an all-around coach.  I am very thankful I got the opportunity to play for The Cats.”  -Sky Rahill ‘19

“I am very thankful that I have had the opportunity to play and coach for South Burlington Legion and none of this would be possible if it was not for Cagney Brigham. Playing for S. B. Legion was an awesome experience, and I was able to learn a lot from Cagney which helped me be able to become successful at baseball and it helped me be able to play baseball at the college level. Cagney is a great coach to play for because he will go the extra mile for all his players by staying late after practice to help out his players no matter if it is baseball or anything they need in life. It has also been a pleasure to coach alongside Cagney for the last three years and he has helped me be able to get a jump start on my coaching career path to be a coach and I have learned a lot from him on how to be a successful coach.
