2025/2026 Basketball Rec League Information for Parents

Welcome to the 2025/26 Basketball Rec League! Here’s what you need to know:

League Divisions

  • Mini-Hoopers: 1st & 2nd Graders - coed
  • Girls League: 3rd-6th Grade
  • Boys League: 3rd-6th Grade

Registration Details

  • Boys Registration: September - October (exact dates TBD)
  • Girls Registration: November - December (exact dates TBD)
  • Cost: $65
    • Includes: Digital team/individual photo link and season-issue jersey

Boys Season Structure

  • August/September: Clinics to help players get ready for the season (Aug. 17th & 24th, Sept. 7th & 14th)
  • September: Registration begins (exact dates TBD)
  • October: Registration ends (exact dates TBD)
  • November: Boys grades 3-6 begin November (exact dates TBD), mini-hoopers start week of January (exact dates TBD)
  • Games: On Saturdays (6 games total)
  • Duration: 8 weeks

Girls & Mini-Hoopers Season Structure

  • August/September: Clinics to help players get ready for the season (Aug. 17th & 24th, Sept. 7th & 14th)
  • October: Possible open gym opportunities TBD
  • November: Registration begins (exact dates TBD)
  • December: Registration ends (exact dates TBD)
  • January: Girls grades 3-6 and mini-hoopers begin January (exact dates TBD)
  • Games: On Saturdays (6 games total)
  • Duration: 8 weeks

Practices and Clinics

  • Practices will be held twice weekly at JWE or Kraxberger in Gladstone
  • Clinics are Aug. 17th & 24th, Sept. 7th & 14th - Held at Kraxberger MS
  • Skill-building clinics led by a Guest Clinic Coach

Game Day

  • Games will be managed by the Oregon City Youth Basketball League
  • Special Opportunity: Teams will be announced on "Youth Night" at a Gladstone High School game

Communication We’ll keep you updated on practice times, game schedules, and any additional details throughout the season.

Coaches We are looking for coaches that would be available for the 8 week season - NO EXPERIENCE NECESSARY - Training provided
