The TVYAF Trojans Youth Basketball program is for students in the Tusky Valley Local School District from grades Kindergarten through 6th.

The TVYAF Basketball program is meant to be an instructional program designed to give each and every child the opportunity to learn the sport of basketball through proper and coordinated instruction.

There are three divisions: Varsity & Jr Varsity Trojan Basketball (Grades 3-6), Little Trojan Basketball (Grades 1-2), and Mini-Trojans (Grades K).

Varsity (Grades 5-6) & Jr Varsity (Grade 3-4) Trojan Basketball.

This league is a school based league with the purpose of teaching the fundamentals of basketball in a fun environment.

Each of our girls & boys Varsity & JV teams play games against other TV teams as well as teams from Sandy Valley, Canton South, East Canton, & Fairless. Games will be on Saturday mornings & afternoons. There will be both home and away games.

Season will run from November thru February.

Little Trojans (Grades 1-2) will be in separate team sessions with time set aside for basic fundamentals along with time set aside for game situation and game play.

This age group will have games on Saturday’s in January & February playing against other TV teams only. This will develop the “team” play with this group to get them prepared for the Jr Varsity level that they will be advancing to in the 3rd grade.

Season will run from January thru February.

Mini Trojans (Grade K) All Kindergarten boys & girls will be together for each session and develop all basic fundamentals in a fun environment.

This group will be showcased at a TVYAF Nights at TVHS Varsity Boys & Girls games in January. (Dates to be determined).
