Q: I created an account and registered my son/daughter online, what's the next step?
A: You and your son/daughter MUST attend one of the sizing dates, and bring the proper documents requested/listed in your confirmation email.
Q: When does practice start?
A: First day teams are eligible to practice is August 3rd.
Q: How many days a week do you practice?
A: Most teams practice 3-4 days per week until the games start, then 2-3 day per week.
Q: Where do we practice?
A: Practice time is decided by your teams coaches,practice location is at Croswell Weslyan Church.
Q: When and where are the games played?
A: Games are played on Saturday's starting August 29th. Games are played at 9:00, 10:30, 12:00, 1:30, and 3:00, (schedules will be provided with your actually game time) Games are played at Anchor Bay, Algonac, Cros-Lex, Port Huron, Richmond, and Yale.
Q: I am interested in coaching/helping where can I apply?
A: All interested in coaching/volunteering must complete the Coach/Volunteer application. Applications will be reviewed, pending our background process, and applicants will be contacted by a CLPW representative after final registration.
Q: With all concerns with safety/concussions, how do I know my son/daughter is in "good hands"?
It is mandatory that all CLPW coaches/volunteers complete the CDC concussion awareness course. All football coaches are USA Football "Heads Up" certified, which ensures proper tackling techniques/drills are taught. All coaches must pass a criminal background check.
