RECAP: The base paths certainly were not empty in a low scoring affair between Royal York and Martingrove as both teams left runners stranded throughout the game. The difference on the night came for a few clutch hits by Royal York, who managed to capitalize on opportunities in the 4th and the 5th innings.

Martingrove rallied in the bottom of the 6th but came up short, stranding the bases loaded to end the game.

RECAP: The dragons broke up a close 5-3 game with 6 runs in the 6th and cruised to an 11-3 victory. Scarborough scored 3 in the first and York countered with 2 of their own. The Dragons went up 4-3 in the 3rd and the Diamonds quickly scored to make it 4-3.

NOTABLE: Dragons pitcher Tim March got stronger and stronger as the game went on, ending up with a 6 inning complete game. Chad Simone singled, doubled and drove in 2. Colm Blaney was 2-3 with a walk. Diamonds Steve Correia was 3-3 with 3 doubles and Oz Alvarez singled, tripled and drove in 2 runs.

RECAP: The game was a see-saw affair with York jumping out to a 2-0 lead in the first inning. Royal York tied it in the 3rd, before York went up 3-2 in the 4th inning. The Cardinals came right back with 2 runs in the 4th and 1 in the 5th to take a 5-3 lead before the Diamonds tied it in the 6th. Pitchers Eric Foley and Denis Hucal were effective for York, While Josh Caicco and Harry Gaudet were equally effective for Royal York.

NOTABLE: Nico Villanueva and Josh Caicco each had 2 hits for the Cardinals. Rich Freeman, Steve Correia and Oz Alvarez all had 2 hits for the Diamonds.

RECAP: The Cardinals easily defeated the Diamonds 9-1. Great pitching from Mario Grajales and Brendan Forbes stymied the York bats, limiting them to just 4 hits. Royal York pounded out 10 hits and the lopsided victory was well deserved. The Cardinals outfield of Matt Young, Brett Wren and Greg Zetana was outstanding and caught 6 fly balls.

NOTABLE: Christian D'Cruz and Brett Wren each had 2 hits for the Cardinals.
