Team Check In

Team Check in will ONLY be at the following times and Gyms

YOU MUST CHECK IN AT THE FOLLOWING GYM

NO EXCEPTIONS!

 Coaches Check List

1. Make sure roster forms and money is received by tournament director prior to the start of the tournament. If they are not received before the start of the tournament your team will not be allowed to participate.

2. Make sure you have all your players paper work( Birth certificate, report card(s). (See YBOA and AAU rules for the details). Your players must meet the age requirements to play in the proper division . If a player does not have the proper paper work he/she will not be allowed to play until it is produced!

3. The home team may be responsible for keeping the official book and the visiting team may be responsible for keep the clock.

4. Coaches passes will be handed out to the head coach only. The head coach will be responsible to hand out his teams passes. If a coach does not have a pass, he/she will not be allowed to enter the tournament as a coach and will have to buy a pass. We are not responsible to keep up with your passes once they are handed out to the head coach. If they are lost or forgotten you will have to purchase a pass! There are no EXCEPTIONS!!!

5. Make sure that you keep check the schedule for any changes, they could change at anytime!!!!!

6. Team must check in, at least 1 hour before your first game, unless you are the first game off the day. Then you must check in 30 minutes before your first game. At check in you will have to have all paper work and a Tournament roster that will be keep by the tournament director. What ever is on the tournament roster is what your are bound by for the rest off the tournament.

ALL HEAD COACHES MUST CHECK IN BEFORE THEIR FIRST GAME!!! NO EXCEPTIONS!!!! 

Rules

High school rules except the following:

Clock:

3rd-8th grade & 8th/9th girls - 14 minute halves ( Could change to 16 min)

9th/10th/11th grade boys and girls 16 minute halves

(Coaches, at any time if we fall behind of the schedule, we may adjust the clock rules)

Clock will stop only on shooting fouls (when the shooting foul is announced by the officials),  time outs and the last TWO minutes of each half. Each team will get 5 time outs per GAME (no carry over’s). Overtime will be 2 minutes, with clock stopping the last minute. Each team will be giving an additional time out in over time. Clock will not stop at all, if a team has a 25 point or greater lead!!!!!

Tie Breakers: If teams are tied after pool play or round robin play.

1st tie breaker is head to head play, 2nd is point differential( if three or more teams are tied with the same record or teams have not played head to head. Maximum of 15 points per game), 3rd is defensive points, 4th is offensive points, 5th is a coin flip.

Game Ball: 6th grade and under boys will use a 28.5 ball. 7th Grade and up will use a 29.5 ball

Home Teams (are listed first) WILL be responsible to keep the Official Book!!!!

No Press Rule applies if a team has a 20 point lead. First time is a warning, second is a technical.( All ages except for High School)

Please sign the attached sheet and turn in at the scorer's table before your first tournament game. We want you and your team to have an enjoyable tournament and good luck.
