Smithsburg Little Sluggers April Meeting Minutes

• Attendees: Rachel Malagari, Laurie Shifler, Nick, Steve Pittsnogle. Travis

  Hoffman, Kenny, Kevin, Greg Smiths and Larry Toms.

• Meeting was held at Smithsburg Fire Hall on April 4, 2023 at 6 pm

• Announcements: Thank you to everyone who came out to Opening day and there help to make it success!! Lots of comments from parents that it was a nice and shirt and happy the weather had a break for it to happen.

• Approve of Minutes:
  Meeting minutes were approved for February, Travis made a motion to approve and was 2nd by Steve.

• Treasure’s report:
  Travis made a motion to approve the Treasure’s report and was 2nd by Steve.

  Kerry has all tax stuff submitted, and 2 more forms that still need done for are charitable status to up to date. Currently $5744 is our balance.

• Division Reps: T-ball:

  Rookie:
  Minor/Majors: Using Major rules, bit of learning curve but it is going well. Softball: Tractor needs serviced, Greg said Doug knows about the tractor. He

  only chargers us for parts.
  Still need net for 1st base, it is a safety issue with the sun. The net is in the C-shed They need plugs, Greg order as we were sitting at meeting.

  • Player Agent:
    Registration is closed and finally uniforms have been ordered. Games have started and each has about 20 games, t-ball a little less.
