How to join our league

  • We focus on non-profit, community or school based teams
  • Contact a member of our board to request information on joining our league to determine if your team's charter is in alignment with our organization's charter
  • Your team will be invited to attend one of the monthly member meetings.  The addition of your team/organization to our league will be voted on by the member organizations.
  • Once part of the league, insure a representative from your organization attends future league meetings

About games

  • Games will be scheduled on Sundays starting at the end of Feb and will run thru the first week of May
  • At least 1 game per team will have to be played on a day other than Sunday since we do not have 8 full weekends of playing time during our normal season
  • Games will generally be scheduled to start between 1-5p.
  • Teams will play other teams in the same division and flight, and if possible, in the same region of central Texas.  Sometimes we do not have enough teams in a particular region so games may be scheduled with teams in other regions of the area.

What has to happen before the season for all teams

  • Organize your teams, hold registration, determine your team make up
  • Reserve your home field for at least 4 home games (2 hr timeslot per game) - be sure to reserve your home field for at least 1-2 days that are not on Sundays
  • Submit your teams into the database/website we use for scheduling games
  • Submit your field availability dates/times into our scheduling database/website
  • Pay the league due for each of your teams

What does the league do for you

  • Facilitates scheduling of 8 games per team
  • Trains/schedules referees for each game

What do you need to do for home games

  • Insure the game field is setup at least 30 mins prior to start of game - setup goals, cones to mark field, all lines are painted/visible
  • Home team must provide personnel to manage scorer's table (timer, scorer) - as these are representatives from only one team then these personnel are expected to remain impartial during game time (no cheering for home team please)
  • Document final score in score book, get referee signature on game results, then report final score in our game/scheduling database/website
  • Manage parents on game day, no parents are allowed on player side of the field (except home team scorer/timer and up to 2 representatives from visiting team who are keeping player stats for their team)
  • In the event of the need to cancel a game on game day, the home team is responsible for contacting the opposing team's coach as soon as possible to notify of the cancellation

Division, Flights

  • Our teams are divided into flights based on skills/competitive level of teams.  In general:
  • Red flight - advanced teams, attend playoffs at end of season
  • Blue flight - intermediate teams, do not attend playoff at end of season
  • White flight - beginner teams, do not attend playoffs at end of season
  • Other color flights - sometimes we create other color flights to allow us to organize specific teams to play together
  • Reference flight guide for guidelines on determining what flight should be assigned to a team
  •  Our teams are divided into divisions based on grades
    • Bantam:  K-2 grades
    • Lightning:  3-4 grades
    • Junior:  5-6 grades
    • Senior:  7-8 grades
