POST-SEASON & TOURNAMENT RULES

1. A player shall have played in seven (7) regular season games in order to be eligible to play in the tournament, unless prior approval is received from the League Director. Exceptions: If a team has less that 10 of its regular season players (who qualify pursuant to this rule), it may use non-qualified players, if it discloses (prior to start of the game) to the opposing team that it is using these players and the opposing team agrees to allow the non-qualified players to participate. If the opposing team indicates that it will not allow any or some of these players to participate, then the team desiring to use non-qualified players must proceed without those players, with the number of players allowed (if any), as long as they have sufficient players pursuant to Rule 4 below.

2. A copy of your lineup must be presented to the opposing team manager prior to the start of the game.

3. Game time is forfeit time. Forfeit may make your team ineligible for next season play.

4. Eight (8) players minimum to start a game.

5. One new ball will be supplied by the league for each game. Winner will keep the game ball. Home team supplies the back-up ball.

6. A game will be complete after five (5) innings (4½ if home team is ahead) or if USSSA run rule is met.

7. All protests must be settled by the end of the game. There are no protest procedures once the game has ended.

8. If tournament is in round robin phase then game can end in a tie.  Once tournament enters elimination phase then game is played out until tie is broken. No new inning after 50 minutes, last inning will be completed. If the game is tied at the end of 50 minutes (and the home team has had their “last ups”), slowpitch softball INTERNATIONAL RULES take effect. INTERNATIONAL RULES are as follows:
Visiting team bats with no outs, and a man on second base. Visiting team bats until they have three outs. Home team bats with same scenario (man on second base, no outs, etc.). Home team bats until they get three outs. If game is still tied, play continues however many additional innings required in order to declare a winner.

9. Home team is determined by coin flip.

10. Regular season and USSSA Rules prevail when not listed above.

11. Batter starts off with a count of 1 ball and 1 strike, and he gets “one to waste” on a foul ball.

12. Home run rule is 5 max per team per game (hit out of the park). Any out-of-the-park home runs hit after that are an automatic out.
