Concussion Awareness

A concussion is a brain injury caused by a bump or
blow to the head that can change the way your brain normally
works. Even what seems to be a mild bump or blow to the head
can be serious.

Concussion Awareness has come to the forefront of concern among
the athletic community. As a result, the PHYA is requiring that
all coaches complete a Concussion Awareness Training Module.
Please click on the link below to gain access to the "Heads Up"
initiative hosted by the CDC - Centers for Disease Control.

Once the training is completed you will receive a certificate
which you must print out. Be sure your name is entered on the
certificate before printing. Print out (2) copies.
(1) Copy for your records and (1) copy to be filed with the PHYA.
Thank You!
