Congratulations to the Staten Island Orioles Prep team for winning the 16u Staten Island Interleague Fall Championship. The boys closed out the fall winning their last 10 games in the regular season and playoffs! Outstanding job guys!

Frazier College Prospects Tournament Champs

The Staten Island Orioles Showcase Black went 5-0 last weekend and won the Frazier College Prospects tournament held in Toms River.

The pitching was led by Mike Fusco ('15 John Jay College) with 2 wins. Charlie Salvador, Reyan Mustafoski and Jon Schneider ('15 St. Joseph College) all chipped in with complete game wins.

Offensively, the long ball was a weapon as Sean Bennett, Matt LoBello (2 home runs), Anthony Maisano (2 home runs) and Vin Caldiere (walk off in the semi finals), went deep.

Congratulations to both the Futures and Prep teams for their showings this weekend. Both teams finished in 2nd place with a combined record of 7-3, outscoring their opponents by a 92-48 margin.

Showcase Teams Have Success at Frazier Elite Tournament

The Showcase Gray team reached the championship game in the Frazier Elite 18u National Division. Highlights included Tom Ambrosino throwing a no hitter and a home run from Rob Schardt.

The Showcase Black team won the Frazier Elite 18u American Division. Hightlights included 2 wins from Vin Juliano and homeruns from Willie Speller and Anthony DelPrete.
