September 16, 2012 - The Rangers went to VSC 9/15-16 to participate in the Prospectwire.com 16U Showcase Event at VSC. The team played 3 nine inning games and finished with a record of 1-0-2 as one of the youngest teams there. Seven Rangers players were ranked by college scouts. No other team had more than 3 players ranked. The boys faced tough competition and it was a great experience.
September 9, 2012 - With some help from our friends, the Delaware state #1 Delaware Vipers, the Rangers claimed a runner up finish at the 16U In The Net Fall Frenzy tournament in Palmyra, PA. Competition was tough, and the Rangers measured up, beating the 16U NY Devilcats 6-4 and topping the 16U Lehigh Valley Gators 8-5. The team fell to a tough 16U Yardley Sharks team in the finals. Another strong weekend for the team.
September 3, 2012 - The Rangers snagged the runner up trophy this weekend at the Essex Express Labor Day Tournament - the last one before moving on to 15U. The team posted strong wins in each of the 4 games leading up to the championship, but faced a very good Delaware Vipers team, falling 3-0 in a well pitched championship game by both teams. It was a very good weekend for the team, posting a 4-1 record and outscoring the opposition 59-8.
July 15, 2012 - The Rangers went 4-0 in the VSC Clash In The South Tournament, and have gone 12-0 their last 3 Tournament wins in VA, PA and MD scoring 121 runs while allowing only 38. Go Rangers!
