Rob Doty Sportsmanship Award

During the 1990's Rob Doty was a volunteer for our league.  He spent many hours of many seasons working on the field, the snack bar and anything else that needed to be done.  In 2000, Rob passed away as a victim of cancer.  Since 2001, TCALL has been awarding the Rob Doty Sportsmanship Award to a deserving graduating player to honor Rob's memory.

Statement from his family:  Rob Doty was a man that believed in hard work and having fun.  He felt there was no better place to combine the two than by being on a baseball team.  He wanted the players to have a safe environment and volunteered many hours maintaining the diamond.  He loved Live Oak Park and made many friends by being involved with TCALL!
