Here are the dates of interest for the upcoming fall season:
Flighting
- Initial flight request - due July 16th (online form)
- Second round of requests - due July 31st (online form)
- Second round published - August 8th
- Final appeal- due August 21st (online form)
- Submit completed team packets - due August 14th
- August 19th-30th: our district coordinator unavailable to stamp rosters and passes
- Final game schedule published - September 5th
Team Packets: I will get the player pass card stock in early August, and put those into individual manilla envelopes for teams. You will need to follow out the packet instructions and then print those passes and the rosters, and then include all that along with the other packet paperwork in that envelope and return to the External VP
Labor Day Tournament: September 5th and 6th
MNJYSA regular season
- Week A: September 19th/20th (first game of season)
- Week F: October 24th/25th; flights with 11 teams have an extra game
- Week G & H bracket the Teacher's Convention on November 7th & 8th and families may take the week off and leave you short of players
- Week J: November 21st/22nd (last game of season) ; flights with 10 teams Week J schedule is published shortly after Week H
- Makeup weekend: November 28th/29th (Thanksgiving - don't plan on being able to actually get a game played that weekend!)
Spring season early look:
- Ice Breaker tournament will be in early March
- Week A begins on Sunday, March ?? for U11 - U14
- Week A begins on March ?? for U8 - U10
- No games weekend of April ??
- 11 team flights will have two games the weekend of ??
- Week J is ?? for U11 - U14 ; all games must be played by June ??
- Playoffs for U11 - U14 begin June ??
