Adams Park Rules:
1. No pets.
2. No Smoking.
3. No coolers are allowed except (1) team cooler. We will have a concession stand that will offer a good selection.
4. No alcoholic beverages.
5. No profanity or un-sportsmanship like conduct.
Protests: There simply are none. All decisions will be made on the field during the game by umpires. If there is a rule interpretation issue, it will be resolved by the umpires, managers, official scorekeepers and the scoreboard operator.
Tournament Rules:
1. The home team will be determined by a coin toss. The home team scorekeeper will be the official game scorekeeper and must record the game starting time in the scorebook. Each manager and home plate umpire will sign the Tournament score sheets at the conclusion of the game.
2. The 2015 USSSA rulebook will govern play. Major League baseball rules will govern any rule not addressed by the USSSA rulebook or tournament rules.
3. There is a 1 Hour 40 minute time limit on all games except the championship game. New innings will not start after 1 hour & 35 minutes. Games will be a maximum of 7 innings. Pool games that are tied after maximum number of innings or time will result in a tie. The Championship Game will be 2 Hour time limit.
4. Coaches must declare at the start of game if they are batting 9, 10 or their entire roster.
5. Courtesy runners can be used for the pitcher and catcher of record at any time. If you are batting the entire roster, then it must be the last player to make an out. If you are batting 9 or 10, it must be one of your subs.
6. There will be a home plate meeting with managers and umpires before each game to go over ground rules. Each Team should provide 1 new baseball to the umpire.
7. In the event of rain, a game is complete after 3 innings. ( 2 ½ if the home team is ahead)
8. A team will be declared the winner if ahead by 15 runs after 3 complete innings (2 ½ if the home team ahead) or 8 runs after 4 innings ( 3 ½ if home team ahead).
9. Game time is forfeit time.
10. In Bracket Play, the higher seed team is home team.
11. All games will be played on Field 6.
Pre-Game Warm-up:
1. Teams will share the use of the outfield to warm-up. Fields that are not being used for other activities may be available.
2. There are two cages available for your use on the first base line.
3. There will be no infield taken between games.
Tie Breakers: If teams are tied at the end of pool play, the following tiebreakers will determine seeding for Bracket Play.
1. Win-Lost Record
2. Head to head competition
3. Fewest runs allowed (RA)
4. Runs scored (RS)
5. Run differential (RD) runs scored minus runs allowed
6. Coin toss
Rain Policy
- No games played, 100% Refund, 1 game played, 50% Refund, 2 games played No Refund
