- La Onda Drops 8-5 Game To The Rays Despite Efforts Of Dustin Williams
- Dustin Williams did all he could to give La Onda a boost, but it wasn't enough to get past the Rays, as La Onda lost 8-5 on Saturday.
- Williams did his best to jumpstart the offense for La Onda, reaching base four times. He scored two runs and had one RBI. He doubled in the seventh inning and singled in the third and ninth innings.
- Even though Christian Prado allowed five runs over 7 2/3 innings he still recorded the victory. He struck out six, walked four and surrendered 11 hits.
- Christian, Andrew Velarde and Tyler Madrid helped lead the Rays. They combined for seven hits and seven RBIs.
- Williams lasted six innings, walked one, struck out seven, and allowed five runs.
- The lead stayed with the Rays after the first, when they scored three runs on two solo home runs by Velarde, Madrid and a sacrifice fly by Oscar Rodarte.

- After pushing across one run in the bottom of the seventh, La Onda faced just a 8-4 deficit. An RBI double by Williams fueled La Onda's comeback. Jesse Martinez flew out to end the La Onda threat.
- La Onda scored one run in the bottom of the eighth to cut its deficit to three. An RBI groundout by Pedro Gonzalez scored Karo Makserejian and allowed Jaret Coleman to advance to 3rd. The Rays stopped the rally after Oscar Rodarte induced a ground ball to get the final out of the inning at 2nd base. La Onda threatened again in the bottom of the 9th but Rodarte was able to shut the door and record the save.
