  • The Toros lost 10-4 to Waves Saturday despite Romes Velazco's two-hit day at the dish.
  • Jerry Lehman got it done on the hill on the way to a win. He allowed four runs (0 ER) over seven innings. He struck out eight, walked one and surrendered five hits.
  • Jake HalpertJustin DimarcoGerald Davis and Lehman helped lead the Waves. They combined for 13 hits and seven RBIs.
  • The Waves didn't relinquish the lead after scoring three runs in the first inning when it scored on two singles.
  • After posting two runs in the fourth, the Waves again scored two in the seventh. In the fourth, the Waves scored on a two-run single by Gerald, scoring Joe Martin and Justin Dimarco.
  • Three runs in the bottom of the fourth helped the Toros close its deficit to 5-3. An error, , and an error sparked a Toros' rally but theToros threat came to an end when Jerry Lehman finally got Ryan Benabou to ground out.
  • The Waves added three more runs in the top of the sixth. Justin's single got things going, scoring Halpert.
