HHSAA Mandatory Background Check Information

Notes:

In preparation for the upcoming girls and boys State tournament, the HHSAA requires a background check for each referee participating.

Very Important:

If you were a referee in the state tournament in February of 2017 and THIS WAS YOUR FIRST YEAR WITH HSSF, you DO NOT have to consent to the background check as they are good for two years.

If you were a referee in the state tournament in February 2017 and THIS WAS NOT YOUR FIRST YEAR WITH HSSF, you WILL need to submit to a background check.

All referees who are new to HSSF this 2017-2018 season will need to consent as well.

Please go to ArbiterSports and instead of entering into the HSSF site, go to the HHSAA , Central Hub site.  Go to "Registration" and click on 2017-2018 Soccer.  There is a 4 step process to give your consent for them to run a background check.  One of the steps requires you to answer twice via a drop-down menu before you can go to the next step so please make sure you scroll to the bottom of the page.

PLEASE COMPLETE THIS REQUIREMENT BY JANUARY 28, 2018 IF YOU INTEND TO BE CONSIDERED TO BE A REFEREE IN THE TOURNAMENTS.
